  • Worked with the Hamilton Wentworth District School Board (HWDSB) on creating curriculum for racialized youth ages 14-17 in Hamilton Ontario.

  • Gave training to the same group of kids on the program curriculum created.

  • Act as a case worker to assist in the resolution of constituent concerns in person, on the phone, and through email.

  • Track responses to concerns to ensure timely resolutions to constituent concerns

Orientation and Transition Assistant

  • Planned and coordinated two events for more than 5,000 first year students in order to orient them into the McMaster University community.

  • When planning MacQuest, managed a budget of $10,000, and liaison with over thirty university stakeholders and partners.

  • When planning the Common Reading Program, managed a budget of $10,000 dollars, in partnership with McMaster University and the Hamilton Public Library and Lawrence Hill the author.

  • Planned and conducted volunteer training for over 50 MacQuest volunteers.

  • Created curriculum for Accessibility Training for the Student Success Centre


Program Coordinator

  • Ran PATH Employment Service’s Third Annual Accessibility Tour, a city wide event, collaborating with Target Canada, McMaster University, and other organizations in Hamilton Ontario.

  • Managed the budget for this city-wide event, and the social media related activities.

  • Wrote every press release related to PATH Employment Service’s Third Annual Accessibility Tour and was published in Community News and Cable 14.

  • Assisted in reinforcing the organization’s social media presence.

  • Drafted and presented the proposal of launching a blog through PATH Employment Services, in order to effectively share job finding resources with clients, while expanding our reach.

  • Selected to serve a three year term on the President’s Advisory Committee on Building an Inclusive Community as a student representative

  • Contributed to policy creation, such as the sexual assault response protocol at McMaster University

  • Lobbied to the President of the university, on recommendations made by the Accesses and Accommodation committee of PACBIC.


  • Planned and hosted the MSU’s first Accessibility Forum in collaboration with David Lepofsky, along with many other events throughout the year.

  • Wrote the Accessibility Forum Report which was presented to the MacAccessibility Council.

  • Chaired Diversity Services’ Abilities Committee

  • Liasoned between Diversity Services and Student Accessibility Services.


  • Under fast paced and emotional pressure, provided exceptional support and assistance to service users who were survivors of sexual assault, at any hour of the day or night.

  • Attended hospitals or police stations to provide extra support to sexual assault victims upon request, often having to be an advocate of sexual assault victims in the face of law enforcement.
